Remember, she's three.
This conversation took place this morning as we were getting ready to leave for church.
Lily: "Mom, are you wearing that vest to Bible Study?!"
Lily: "Oh no."
Me: "Why? Don't you like this vest?"
Lily: "I like the vest. Just...(pause while she thinks how to word it...) ...it's not too good on you."
In hindsight, it's the "Oh no" that gets me...sort of like she saw this coming. Incidentally, it's a beige vest which I wore over a brown turtle neck with jeans. It's not worthy of an "oh no!" Go figure.
Knowing you, you were probably looking as stylish and svelte as ever. However, I am tickled to hear how Lily is growing into quite the fashionista :)
We love checking your blog, so keep 'em coming... even if they are "Lily threw up on the cream medallion" stories!
P.S. Your P.U. sock entry was particularly out of the park. Jia yo!!
Much love, Amanda
I just want to go on record as saying I thought you looking fabulous as always at bible study. At least Lily is noticing you. My boys on the other hand couldn't care what I looked like.
